Neither is an adult, no one is. He started the LRA, Lord’s Resistance Army. 20.000 kids have been kidnapped, this needs to stop. i totally understand. i love harry potter, the hunger games, and all the other books i’ve ever read that have shaped who i am, that have touched my life. i understand fandoms, and the feelings associated with characters who’ve become your friends. i understand fantastical worlds that are sometimes more real than reality. an escape from the cruel world of a hierarchical social system. but there’s so much out there. so many other books to read, places to discover, creativity to be used, challenges to defeat, trees to climb, miracles to experience, amazing people to meet, and your own adventures to be had. i’ll always be proud to be a member of the harry potter generation, but it’s time to differentiate between loving characters and books and loving celebrities. until i figure things out and do some living and growing up i’m going on a hiatus, and spending more time reading and living than on the internet. remember everyone stay alive.
